Buchanan's Mud Fest - May 2012

New filming!!! Last weekend, we took a trip to Robertsville, Missouri (middle of nowhere...) and filmed the May '12 Mud Fest held there. This event is held twice each year, and the other 2012 event will be in October. You can bet we'll be there filming again! Until then, check out a few photos we posted up to the M16 Productions Facebook page. We won't be posting videos quite yet since we're working on producing a full length video with all of our newer footage, but the photos should give you a good taste of what all was on hand out at Buchanan's!

Visit the Facebook Album for a handful of shots taken

Or visit Buchanan's Website for more details on their events! It hasn't been updated yet, but I'm sure an event like that takes a while to recover from when you're hosting what was estimated to be a few thousand spectators!

New Website Design and More!

Good morning! As you've probably noticed, our website is changing over to a new design, and M16Productions is taking a new form all together. The site is changing from a grungy, all black look, to a cleaner, easier to navigate, and easier to read format.

M16's focus is changing, looking more to video and less to photography since there are already so many great photographers in the St. Louis area.

The website will be getting more attention from here on out as well. We're looking at providing features on local vehicles and their owners, as well as specific features for events, and 'scenes' in the area. So keep an eye out on this page, and on our Facebook page for updates which should be coming much more frequently! Hope to see you around!

Haitian Cars

Happy Friday! As most of you know, we recently travelled to Port-au-Prince, Haiti with non-profit organization Project 58 (<--- Click their name to visit their website). During our four day trip, over 700 photos were taken, and over 2 hours of video were filmed, totalling nearly 50gb of media in four days! While there, most of the photos and videos captured had to do with Project 58, the people of Haiti, and the potential work that Project 58 will be able to do in the future in Haiti to relieve human suffering caused by poverty there. However, M16Productions kept all of its website visitors, and Facebook fans in mind while there and tried to capture as many photos of the "Cars of Haiti" as possible, in order to show everyone the drastic difference between the roads and vehicles of the United States, and the roads and vehicles of the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Check out the full story after the jump!
